1. Platform purpose and scope

Mocle is a mobile creative studio and interactive social community designed for pixel art creators. The platform allows users to create custom pixel art canvases, publish original artwork, exchange image messages, and interact with other artists. This Privacy Policy details how the Mocle Team collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our iOS application or visit www.mocle.co.

2. Age requirements and protection of minors

Mocle is designed for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect, process, or retain personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that a minor has registered an account or that data regarding a minor has been transmitted without verified parental consent, we will immediately close the account and permanently delete all related data from our servers.

3. Categories of information collected

• Account information: when you register or create a profile, we may collect your username, email address, profile picture, and bio.
• User-generated content and messages: pixel art uploads, canvas drafts, gallery comments, profile avatars, and social interactions.
• Technical and device diagnostic information: device hardware model, iOS version, app build information, IP address, language settings, and system error logs necessary for maintaining infrastructure security and performance.

4. Device access permissions

• Photo library access: used to save and export your completed pixel art to your device's photo album, and to attach and send image messages within the app.
• Camera access: required when you take real-time photos and send them directly as image messages within community conversations.

5. Financial data and in-app virtual currency ("Crystals")

Mocle features an in-app virtual currency known as Crystals and offers services to unlock digital tools and features that can be acquired via Apple's In-App Purchase (IAP) system. All financial transactions are exclusively managed and processed by Apple Inc. The Mocle Team does not receive, process, or store raw financial information, credit card numbers, or billing addresses.

6. UGC moderation and zero biometric data collection

• Community safety controls: we provide users with tools to instantly block harassing profiles, filter inappropriate content, and report violations.
• No biometric data processing: Mocle does not collect, scan, obtain, or store any biometric data or identifiers (such as facial features, voiceprints, or fingerprint scan data).

7. Data usage, no-sale policy, and cross-border transfer

We process your information solely to maintain the drawing engine, provide community features, secure messaging channels, and fulfill legal obligations.

• No data sales: we do not sell or rent your personal data to third-party advertising platforms or data brokers, nor do we monetize it.
• Service providers and cross-border data transfer: data may be securely hosted or processed on cloud infrastructure located outside your jurisdiction. All processing activities are conducted under strict data protection and confidentiality agreements.

8. Data retention and permanent deletion

We retain your personal information only while your account remains active. Upon your request to delete your account, all personal data, user profiles, and hosted content will be permanently erased or irreversibly anonymized within 30 calendar days (except where retention is legally required).

9. User rights and account control

• In-app account deletion: you can permanently delete your account directly within the app at any time by navigating to Settings → Delete Account.
• Tracking permissions: you can adjust device-level tracking permissions on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

10. Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or regulatory requirements. Revisions will be posted on www.mocle.co or communicated via in-app notifications. Continued use of Mocle following the posting of any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
